This unusual, very colorful heart (vintage or antique) pendant was purchased by me long ago (1970s) in ancient lands. Cloisonné, in the decorative arts, is an enameling technique or any product of that technique, which consists of soldering to a metal surface delicate metal strips bent to the outline of a design and filling the resulting cellular spaces, called cloisons (French: “partitions” or “compartments”), with vitreous enamel paste. Ive never seen anything like this heart anywhere. The size is one inch in both directions. Would make a wonderful present for someone special or worn by you. Super well made. Not marked for silver content ~ probably not 925 but much less. It is about an inch and a half tall, counting the top part from where it is hung. If you like unique items not cranked out by the millions in China, this might be for you!
