This Lenovo ThinkPad L512 is a solid, no-nonsense laptop that has been carefully upgraded and maintained to extend its useful life. Originally released in 2010, it features a dependable Intel Core i5 M560 processor running at 2.67GHz, paired with 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a 250GB SATA solid state drive. Fresh thermal paste has been applied to the CPU to ensure stable temperatures and reliable operation during everyday use. The system is running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC, a specialized long term support edition of Windows that avoids feature bloat and will continue receiving security updates through 2032. All current Windows updates, drivers, and the latest BIOS have already been installed, so the laptop is ready to use out of the box. Included software consists of VLC Media Player, Mozilla Firefox with the uBlock Origin extension installed, Microsoft Office 2024 Professional Plus, and Malwarebytes for added protection. This ThinkPad connects to the internet via wired Ethernet. While a Wi-Fi card is installed, it does not currently detect wireless networks, so wireless connectivity would require replacing the internal card or using a USB Wi-Fi adapter.
