The Sony PS-1100 is a vintage, semi-automatic, idler-drive turntable (Like a lot of DUAL tables) from the mid-70s, known for its stylish look and semi automatic features and decent bang for the buck. It has a few design compromises; a fixed non removable headshell, and non-calibrated counterweight, so use a tonearm scale for proper set-up. It does offers a very consistent speed and good overall quality sound that does not break the bank. It includes a good cartridge (period correct R47XT cartridge with a shure 5X stylus with plenty of life left. Replacement are available if so desired. A copy of the Manual/Service Manual can be provided if you bring a USB drive. Condition: This table is in good condition and has been recently, cleaned lubricated and set up by DALAUDIO. The turntable setup included, setting the tracking force, anti-skate, cueing control and cartridge alignment. It was tested with several albums played all the way to the end. The semi auto tonearm works flawlessly at the end of an album, returning to the rest. The reject button works in any track. Both 33/45 speeds are functional. Maybe Ill get lucky and find another audiophile. I am selling my beautiful Salk Sound SongTower speakers. The finish is curly maple with a silver gray dye and satin final coat. Everything is included as it shipped from Salk Sound - factory boxes and packaging, paperwork, certificate of birth, spiked feet, etc. The speakers have a few hundred (low few hundred) hours on them in a smoke-free home. They were never driven anywhere near their handling capacity. The finish it amazing, which Im sure you already know if you are interested in Salk speakers. The speakers live in a home so they have normal, minor wear. Ive attached pics of everything I found - basically a few rubs that didnt penetrate the finish, a few small dents that didnt penetrate the finish. One of the plinths has a corner ding (shown in the pics). One of the speakers and some spotting in the finish. It is smooth to the touch and hard to see unless the light hits it just right. It is shown in the pictures. The grills are in perfect condition. $2150 cash. No trades. No bullshit.
