This is a good sounding, easy playing Samick LW-PAS dreadnought sized acoustic guitar. This guitar is set up, very playable, structurally solid. This guitar is an all laminated body. Has a good set of Asian Grover tuners on it. A good fully functional starter guitar. No repairs or needed repairs that I can see. This is a entry level beginners guitar that probably cost $175-200 when new with out a gig bag and accessories Im guessing. No case Made in Indonesia. Do a little advance homework, Google Samick LW-PAS and look over other information and reviews on this guitar. The top is laminated nato, the sides and back are a laminate mahogany specie inside and out. The neck is a mahogany specie. String action at the 12th fret is slightly over the thickness of a nickel. The neck is straight and the rosewood fingerboard is in good condition. The frets are good. The single action truss rod works perfectly. The neck/body joint and all internal bracing is solid. The bridge, and bridge pins are tight. Tuners are Asian Grover chrome die cast models, smooth and tight. I did make 2 missing nylon bushings for the tuners. There is a mark in the neck and behind the nut on the headstock finish that Ive included pictures of. The strings are new, Ernie Ball Lights, 52-11s. I polished the frets, cleaned and re-conditioned the fingerboard and bridge and did a set up. IF IT IS STILL LISTED, ITS STILL FOR SALE The finish is in good overall condition. There are a couple of nicks and scuffs appropriate for a used guitar. No odors or smells. Take the time to come play this and you will appreciate how well it sounds and plays. This is the only way to properly evaluate the guitar. If you have a friend who plays well, bring them along to test drive it for you if needed. Get an immediate second opinion from your friend. A very good guitar to learn on. Definitely a large step up from many entry level guitars. This should take the guitar out of the learning equation if youre just getting started. Here is a great deal on an uncommon guitar by the famed House of Nunez builders in Argentina. This is a model A-1 Medio Concerto. This model is from the 50s to 60s. Antigua Casa Nunez has a long history of guitar making in Argentina going back to the 1800s. In 1858, a Spanish immigrant named Francisco Nuñez, arrived in Argentina and settled in Buenos Aires. In 1870, he conceived the formation of the House, then called Francisco Nuñez y Cia Guitar Factory. The Antigua Casa Nuñez Guitars was played by great classical guitarists in all the world, included A. Segovia. Although not one of their top-of-the-line Conciertos (those would have the hand-carved headstock), this Model A-1 Medio Concierto is, over-all, very solid with expected wear and tear from use. In my opinion, Antigua Casa Nunez tend to be a punchier guitar with more attack and volume. Please see photos for condition. Feel free to ask questions. Some of the details about this one include: 52mm nut 25 1/2 string-length (642mm) approx. 33 long x 14 wide (lower bout) and 4 deep body approx. 3.5mm action at the 12th fret on the 6th string (low E) Some blemishes I have found are: - the obvious strum wear below the strings/sound-hole, - slight bow to the neck, starting around the 7th or 8th fret. Despite this it still has a comfortable classical 3.5mm action on the Low E string at the 12th fret. - A small section of binding that has cracked and slightly pulled away on the bottom by the tail block, someone carver numbers into the back of the head stock, - general expected wear throughout from use.
