HP Laptop - Windows Vista

This is an older laptop, but appears to work normally. I went through it and tried to update/repair any issues I could find, but - as you can imagine - resources are limited. I was able to partially repair the lack of functioning ethernet and wireless properties, corrected the date and attempted to load an antispyware program on it, with no luck. The optical disk drive functions, but the button to release the tray is broken, so you have to use the Eject feature to open it. The charger seems to work well and the battery even holds a little power. I was not able to create a recovery disk, presumably because that function had already been used before?
