The OCOS Advantage: Liberation of Sound Sound neutrality: Because of the typical and unique OCOS physical parameters (see below), OCOS cable behaves as an integrated component of the speaker itself. It is not a component in its own right but simply a completely transparent medium, which transports the music signal. OCOS doesnt alter or remove the symptoms of a physical mismatch; instead it removes the mismatch itself. The sound is completely transparent, neutral and balanced without harshness, edginess or nervousness. The secret behind OCOSs unique traits is firmly lodged in solid engineering and science. In keeping with the fundamentals of HF-technology the impedance of any conductor will rise dramatically in the bass region (how much depends on its length and diameter of conductive material) but inevitably the result means a decrease in sound quality. If the cables impedance is outside of the loudspeakers impedance range, the occurring miss-match in the low frequency region will affect the signal throughout the entire frequency spectrum. Conventional cables can reach an impedance of up to one thousand-fold of the speakers impedance with the end-result being an uneven performance. OCOS is the first and only loudspeaker cable with absolute constant impedance throughout the entire frequency range, matching that of a normal loudspeaker. The end result being that the amplifier sees the speakers directly, as if there is no cable i.e. a truly transparent cable!
