Vintage Dewdrop line was manufactured from approximately 1953 to 1956. The pitcher is typically made of clear glass, but other variations like the Marigold Carnival Glass version also exist. Dew Drop was made by Jeannette Glass between 1953 and 1956. There are two versions of the pitcher and this one is called the flat pitcher, which holds 2 quarts and is 8 tall to the top of the spout. It is very sturdy, as are all the Dew Drop pieces, so can be used as an everyday pitcher, but has an interesting design alternating a stippled stripe with a plain one.

Fuel oil ration coupons were official documents issued by the U.S. Office of Price Administration (OPA) between 1942 and 1945 to manage shortages during World War II. These, often called V-Fuel coupons, regulated the purchase of heating oil, with coupons holding unit values representing specific gallon amounts (e.g., 1, 5, 25, or 50 gallons) to manage both residential heating and other needs. Key Details of WWII Fuel Oil Rationing • Purpose: To manage shortages caused by reduced imports, the need for rubber production, and high military demand. • Issuance: Coupons were distributed by local War Price and Rationing Boards, with households receiving booklets based on their specific heating needs. • Structure: They were commonly categorized by class (e.g., Class 3, Class 5) to denote their usage, with Class 5 typically used for non-heating purposes or specific, large-unit quantities, notes the Duke Digital Repository. • Values: Perforated sheets included coupons for 1, 5, 25, or 50 gallons, designed to be used like currency with suppliers, notes the Duke Digital Repository. • Expiration: Coupons were usually valid for specific heating years (e.g., 1943-1944 or 1945), says this eBay listing and this Northwestern University Libraries item. • Collectors Item: Today, these coupons are considered popular home front militaria collectibles from WWII. They often feature the O.P.A. mark and the denomination in gallons, according to the Scioto County Public Library. This document is in very good condition and has 10 one-gallon coupons on it. Asking $15.
