Not LED or Plasma. 3D Ready with glasses. You pick up. $300 3D TV’s are what’s in today. 3D & LED TV’s is the up and coming thing, whereas 720P & 60Hz TV’s are starting to become a thing of the past. Have you ever checked out the price of 3D or LED TV’s? They range in price but if you’re planning on getting one that’s good size than you’ll be paying a hefty price. A friend of mine a couple months back picked up the Mitsubishi WD-73738 73” TV. I found out when I went to his place and nearly had a heart attack upon seeing it. Of course I wanted to check it out, so he fired the massive HD 3D TV up and I was blown away. It was as if he had a movie theater in his house. I was dying to know the details, so here’s a rundown of this enormous Mitsubishi DLP. 1080P (Full HD – Blu-ray Quality) 3D (Ability to Display 3D Content with DLP Link Glasses) 73” (Needless to Say It’s Monstrous) Internet (Play Vudu, Pandora, Use Facebook. All of This is Possible with this Internet Enabled TV) 120 Hz Smooth (No Need to Worry About Motion Blur Especially when Watching Fast Moving Action Scenes) After finding out more about this Mitsubishi 73” I was very impressed, especially considering it’s a DLP. I didn’t know too much about DLP’s prior to seeing and learning about this one. I was extremely surprised you could get a TV of this caliber outside of the LED’s & High-End Plasmas. So after I found out all the specs I wanted to know the price. If I picked up a LCD, Plasma or LED or this size it would set me back $5000 or more. To find out I could get the Mitsubishi WD-73738 for under $2000 was a no brainer for me, I had to buy it. I’ve now owned it for about 6 months, here’s my thoughts on it. THE GOOD The quality and size of this TV, for the money you can’t beat it. I love being able to connect to the internet and rent movies right from the TV. A lot of cool pre-installed apps & channels. You can go in and customize every aspect of the display on this TV exactly to your liking. 3D works great / HD looks really good when using the HDMI ports. THE NOT SO GOOD You have to purchase specific DLP Link 3D glasses, unless you have an IR Adapter. No built in WIFI, you have to connect either by Ethernet cable or by plugging in a network adapter. The speakers lack bass. This isn’t a huge deal considering most stock TV speakers aren’t that good. THE BOTTOM LINE – MY OPINION AND EVERYONE ELSES My opinion of this Mitsubishi WD-73738 TV is that you’ll be hard-pressed to find a 3D HD TV that delivers this kind of value for the money. As for everyone else, they shared a similar view. Over 90% of all the reviews I’ve come across have rated the Mitsubishi WD-73738 either 4/5 or 5/5 stars, with the vast majority rating it 5 stars. Most of the positive feedback was for the great picture quality. The only negative feedback I could find was for the extra hassle of having to purchase DLP Link 3D glasses instead of the more common IR 3D glasses. Overall, I highly recommend this Mitsubishi 73” TV, as do many other satisfied customers.

I am using one and another is for location testing. These used antennas are badly weathered with corrosion and rust but that does not affect their performance. Much of the reflector is coated with rust but that does not affect the performance. The mast clamp is not rusted and the wing nuts turn freely. The 1st photo is the actual item years before it got weathered and before the original balun was replaced with the expensive Channel Master. The mount, mast, and cable shown in the photograph are not included. The plastic clip/holder for the balun on one was broken on one side and was removed. The balun can be secured with a plastic tie. The original balun was replaced with the expensive (about $19), high quality Channel Master CM–3203 balun. Its features are: Replaceable Leads with Weather Seal Weatherproof Metal Housing Enhanced Circuit Board Design Low Insertion Loss Check to see what TV stations/channels are possible at your location by entering your address in the FCCs DTV reception map website. Please learn the difference between virtual channels and RF channels on that website. The RF channels are what the TV station actually broadcasts on and it may be different than the station identification channel and what is indicated on your TV. You need to know if your stations transmit on VHF and if they are strong at your location for this antenna to work for you.
