If you are reading this ad, then this beautiful antique piece is still available, so no need to ask. In very good condition, and easily moved. Original glass in the large upper display area. The lower desk section, which sits on nicely turned spool legs, has a single hand dovetailed and beveled drawer. There is additional spool molding throughout the desk. The upper secretary section has several open cubbies for storage, as well as 4 hand dovetailed drawers. In addition to the drawer joints, expert craftsmanship can be seen where the top and bottom boards of the upper section are dovetailed into the surrounding boards rather than just nailed or screwed. You can also see where the side pieces of the upper molding are dovetailed into the front molding. The original working locks are present and keys are included. The back is made up of rough boards. Dimensions are: Base – 36 inches wide x 21 inches deep x 30 inches tall. Top – 37 inches wide x 14 ½ inches deep x 51 ½ inches tall. Cash only please. Email with a phone number, or call/text. Passmore of Fulton, Illinois. - Sold under the brand name Lightning, known for durable cast iron tools. - These tools were part of a cobbler’s kit alongside wooden shoe stretchers and leather softeners. 🧭 Identifying Features - Embossed with “LIGHTNING” and “FULTON ILL” on one handle. - Other side reads “PAT OCT 12 97”. - Typically made of cast iron, about 15–17 inches long, with a ball tip and ring handle.
