At Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue, we rescue dogs of all breeds from high-risk shelters before they’re euthanized, and we place them into loving foster homes while they wait for their forever families. Axel is an active and playful dog who thrives on companionship with other dogs, so having a furry friend around would be perfect for him. While Axel is dog-friendly, he can be a bit nervous around new people and prefers not to make direct eye contact. To ensure everyones safety, he should wear a muzzle when meeting new folks. With the right approach and time, Axel reveals his affectionate and playful side, becoming a loyal and protective companion. Axel needs a dedicated and experienced dog owner who can provide firm training and a bit of extra care. He was rescued just an hour before his scheduled euthanasia and is eager to find a loving, active home where he can truly shine. 🐾 WAFFLES – American Bulldog Donut is a sweet, gentle pup who loves making new dog friends and being part of the pack. 🐾 With his calm personality and soulful eyes, he’s just as happy playing with other dogs as he is relaxing by your side after a fun day. Donut would thrive in a home where he can have a canine buddy or regular playtime with other dogs—he’s the kind of loyal companion who will quickly steal your heart and make every day a little brighter. 🐾 SCOUT – American Bulldog / German Shepard Scout is a 7-month-old male American Bulldog / German Shepherd / Husky mix with a big personality, a loving heart, and so much potential. He’s highly social and truly enjoys being around people, other dogs, and his favorite toys. 🐾 DAFFODIL – Terrier Mix Meet this adorable little lion cub—well, not quite, but you’d swear she borrowed her look from the savanna! With her scruffy terrier fur, curious eyes, and brave little strut, she’s equal parts fierce and cuddly. She may look like a tiny explorer, but all she really wants is a warm lap, a loving home, and someone to share her big, playful heart with. Give this pint-sized “lion” the forever family she deserves, and she’ll reward you with endless love and loyalty. 🐾 BELLA – Boxer I’m a sweet, shy girl who is still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. I may be timid at first, but once I feel comfortable, I show my loving and loyal heart. I do best in a calm, patient home where I can move at my own pace and build trust slowly. Soft voices, cozy naps, and kind humans mean everything to me. I’m an older gal with lots of love to give, and I’m hoping for someone who sees past my shyness and gives me the chance I deserve. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who will quietly steal your heart, I might be your girl. 🐾 We’re a fully foster-based rescue – we don’t have a facility. That means we can’t save more dogs unless we have more fosters. Right now, we’re urgently looking for kind, reliable people in the Los Angeles area to help us save lives. We provide all food, supplies, and medical care. You provide a safe, loving home and help show these dogs what it means to be cared for. **This is not a job, this is an opportunity for dog lovers to be compensated for their time and commitment to the dogs care** ✅ ✅ PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – THESE ARE OUR REQUIREMENTS ✅✅: ✅ Must be 21 or older ✅ Must already have ALL approval from landlords, roommates, family, etc. Please do not reach out unless you’re 100% sure you’re able to bring a dog into your home ✅ Must be able to attend adoption events and supply pickups at Petco in West Hollywood every other Saturday. These are required ✅ Must be able to transport the dog to and from vet appointments as needed ✅ Must be able to commit to at least 4 weeks of fostering.
