Leblanc (Paris) Noblet Eb Clarinet. All wood with NO cracks or imperfections. Playing very well and ready for piccolo E Flat orchestral and concert band parts. My technician just replaced three pads and the thumb rest cork. If you want a fine wooden French Eb clarinet, there really arent a lot of choices. Basically, Selmer or Buffet. Although often playing as well as the much more expensive Leblanc Paris Eb clarinets, the Noblet models were considered more of an intermediate model. Leblanc Paris no longer exists today, and Conn-Selmer puts the Leblanc name on some lesser quality instruments made in Indiana. The Leblanc Paris factory has been sold and is gone (ironically having been purchased by Buffet Crampon). This E flat clarinet plays very well, but do not take my word for this. Come audition it next to my Buffet and Selmer Ebs and make your own determination. A new, intermediate Buffet E11 Eb costs $3489 at Sweetwater. This one will save you almost $2500 after sales tax! Includes a Noblet mouthpiece, cap, ligature and case, all in good condition. Only your accountant will know (but not hear) the difference! A rare find indeed! Do not hesitate!
