This is a very good sounding, easy playing Fender DG-8S-NAT solid spruce top dreadnought sized acoustic guitar. This guitar is now again very playable, structurally solid, with good Asian made Grover tuners. A good fully functional starter guitar. This model has what some call a Viking ship bridge. The guitar has a few nicks and scuffs in the finish. I did a few repairs, see below, and the guitar is again now fully functional and playable. This is a higher end beginners guitar that probably cost $200-250 when new with all items and a case, Im guessing. No case. Made in China. Do a little advance homework, Google Fender DG8S NAT and look over other information and reviews on this guitar. The top is solid spruce, the sides and back are a mahogany laminate inside and out. The neck is a mahogany specie. String action at the 12th fret is slightly over the thickness of a nickel. It plays real smooth. The neck is straight and the rosewood fingerboard is in good condition. The frets have some wear from the truss rod being out of adjustment when I purchased it. I have corrected this condition and the neck is in proper alignment again. The two way truss rod works perfectly. The neck/body joint and all internal bracing* is solid. The bridge, and bridge pins are tight. Tuners are Asian made Grover die cast models, smooth and tight. The strings are new, Ernie Ball Lights, .052 - .011s. I polished the frets, cleaned and re-conditioned the fingerboard and bridge. Shes been set up and is ready to play. ******Repairs******** When I purchased the guitar there was slight damage to the solid top. I repaired it with thin CA glue and leveled the finish and buffed it out. Not invisible, but a completely structural, functional repair. One of the internal X-braces was sprung partially loose from the top. This I repaired with Titebond Original and clamps. The repair has remained solid, unmoved since repair. Ive included pictures. As noted above, the truss rod was out of alignment. This I corrected after doing the structural repair returning it to a good playing condition. ****************** IF IT IS STILL LISTED, ITS STILL FOR SALE ****************** The finish is in good overall condition. There are a couple of nicks and scuffs appropriate to a 20+ year old guitar. No odors or smells. Take the time to come play this and you will appreciate how well it sounds and plays. This is the only way to properly evaluate the guitar. If you have a friend who plays well, bring them along to test drive it for you if needed. Get an immediate second opinion from your friend. A very good guitar to learn on. Definitely a large step up from many entry level guitars. This should take the guitar out of the learning equation if youre just getting started. Or if you are looking to upgrade from an lower entry level unit, or just have as a good second for friends to play. I will respond to all emails that reference questions or requests. Please include the name, Fender, in any requests because I am also selling another guitar. ******************************************************************** Willing to meet at an arranged local safe environment for you play and check it over. ******************************************************************** Please ask all the questions you want, all questions are welcome. This is the type of information I hope to be able to get before I buy a guitar, thats why I include so much information. I want you to feel comfortable knowing what youll be coming to inspect and play. You have a detailed summary before you consider taking the time to come inspect the guitar. Saves us both time and effort in the long run. Then come and have an eyes on, ears open and hands on inspection. $125 guitar only Cash only. Local pick up only. DO NOT send me a to connect to. I bought this bell years ago for a sound effect in a bank commercial … it’s in good shape; nice loud ring The bell is 9.25 inches wide at the bottom. You’ll need three sturdy screws and some solid wood to mount it to. In person, cash only. I will not ship. Scammers, don’t bother; I’ve seen it all. If you call, you’ll need to leave a message, or text me first with your number – I screen all my calls. I don’t want to give it up, but … bills are bills. Thanks for your interest!

The Rolls Royce of Harmonica Amps what more can I say, says Rod Piazza. It’s the loudest harmonica amp on earth with zero feedback. Six ten inch speakers and 100 watts. After watching Rod for nearly 30 years, and after shows I talked to Rod about his amps, well about 20 years ago I purchased this amp brand new from John Kinder the builder of the amp. This amp is like brand new, you can still smell the wood on inside. I only did a handful of live shows with the amp, used mostly home use. The amp is all original, even the tubes, and comes with original cover. Only serious inquiries, and local pickup only, I do not ship. Please call between 10 am and 4 pm. I would like this to go to a great musician’s home. HarpKing Specs from the Kinder web page. The HarpKing: A completely revolutionary amp that has resulted from many hours of research by John Kinder and Rod Piazza. Rods perfect ear and harp experience and Johns knowledge of the Blues and electronics makes this the designer amp for harp players. Power: 6X10-100 watts of RMS sine wave power. Tubes: We are using two KT-90 power tubes in the 6x10 KT-90s are used in industrial settings such as pro audio because of their ability to handle high amounts of power. John selected these tubes because of their strength and the tone, which they produce. The pre-amp tubes are 12AX7. Speakers: The HarpKing uses 10 Eminence speakers. These speakers were selected by Rod for our amp because of the tone they produced in harmony with the cabinet. Cabinet: We feature an all wood cabinet designed by the late Sam Hutton. This cabinet has a resonance all its own. Wiring: We are using hand wiring and specially designed circuit boards. All of the boards have plate through holes, which form a rivet type joint that is much sturdier than the soldering you will find on most amps. Height: The HarpKing 6x10 is 32 tall, easily adjustable on stage with waist high controls. No need to take your egg crates, you can monitor yourself with our speaker configuration. The 4x10 is 24 tall. The top carrying handle on both amps is balanced for easy moving. Weight: The 6x10 is 63 pounds. Phasing: John thought of everything. You can hookup your HarpKing in tandem with another amp. The phase switch in the back of the cabinet allow the HarpKing speaker cones to move together, in the same direction as the other amp. Effects: There are no extra effects on the HarpKing. This amp has a complete range of controls for you to dial inyour own sound. The three patented Kinder Controls are to reduce feedback and to get the sound wanted by so many. Color: The HarpKing comes in Red, Purple and Blond with gold grille cloth. Each amp has a logo color to match the tolex with black silk-screening.

I did a “relic” job on the tolex, and removed the grill cloth. Upgraded Weber Speaker. Amp functions and sounds great. Due to the physical condition of the amp and road-case selling cheap. Its far from “mint” but sounds incredible, specifically due to the speaker upgrade.

01/21/2026 UPDATE: I was asked about the neck and overall condition / playability, and in checking this one out, I noticed a few things of note. First - I have NOT changed the strings or had this in for a setup. New strings would be mandatory (IMHO). I would recommend a set up as well, but that is up to the new owner. I have all my guitars set up first thing. Second - Neck is straight, frets are all there. Neck feels fine and I have no playability issues. Ive seen much chunkier necks. Neck joint / connection is solid. No cracks. Finally - The only negative(s) found are things seen often on these old guitars. The back piece is cracked at the top, and there is separation on the side and bottom (SEE PICS). This DOES NOT feel loose at all. The separation could be easily remedied with new tack nails or glue / caulk. SEE PICS (last 3). Please let me know if there are any questions! _______________________________________________________________________________ This is a beaut - Shell hang on my wall and be lightly played until sold. Measures 41 H x 16 W x 3.5 D. Very nice overall condition. See photos. The Harmony H1215 is an iconic vintage acoustic archtop guitar, most famously known by its common name, the Harmony Archtone. It was one of the most popular and mass-produced archtop guitars made in the United States, defining the mid-century look of guitars sold through catalogs like Sears, Roebuck & Co. Harmony used a process called rotary birch veneer to create the top, back, and sides. This is a single, solid piece of wood that is pressed into the arched shape, rather than a multi-layered laminate or plywood construction. This all-Birch construction is a key characteristic of the H1215 model and contributes to its distinctively mid-heavy, punchy tone. The H1215 has the classic, mid-forward, woody and boxy tone characteristic of all-Birch archtops. It is known for its clarity and projection for rhythm playing. Comes with the hardshell case pictured. These sell for $700+! Pickup in Lombard, IL (60148). LIMITED LOCAL delivery possible for an additional cost (TBD). ENJOY!! ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Production year(s) : 1944-1971 (other years possible, not verified) One of the most popular archtop models.
