Kenwood KA-801 Integrated Amplifier - 110WPC!

Kenwood KA-801 integrated amplifier. Rated at 110 watts per channel. Made in Japan and originally sold between 1979-80. Dual mono power supply featuring two separate power transformers and two sets of filter capacitors. A and B speaker control, Loudness control, balance, tone controls, and DC coupling On/Off switch. Dual illuminated power meters. The face plate, knobs, and cabinet are all in very nice original condition with just a light scratch on the top rail of the faceplate, and a small scuff around the Kenwood logo on the front panel. All of the toggle switches are in good shape on this unit. These are broken on many of these units from rough handling. This is a very nice sounding amplifier with plenty of punch. Very detailed sounding with great stereo imaging. This is an integrated amp which means that it incorporates a power amplifier, a pre-amplifier, and a phono amplifier all into one unit. An integrated amp can also be thought of as a receiver without an AM/FM tuner. This unit is ready to take home, hook up to your speakers and start enjoying today.
